Relationships and Time | Create Your Health

February 24th, 2012 by Thea Pueschel

Do you have a friend or loved one you haven?t spoken to in years and according to your recollection there really was no reason behind the cease of communication. You meant to call, you meant to write, but those hours you thought about it turned into days, months and possibly years? Life provided a different path or perhaps it just got in the way. ?Now, that time has passed perhaps you feel a little apprehensive about contacting them. Meaningful relationships last a lifetime.

Reconnecting worked for this man and the gorilla he raised. Doesn?t it make sense that this too could be a possibility for human beings with emotional connections? Think of the times when you accidentally run into a long lost friend and those positive feelings and the connection come flooding back. As you connect it feels as if no time has passed. Connection and attachments are important. As the telephone commercials of the 70s and 80s state perhaps it is time to ?reach out and touch someone.?
